Wedding dance lessons in Dublin with First Dance Academy are private, personalised, and built entirely around you. There's no group class, no generic routine — just you, your partner, and your choreographer in a private studio for 2.5 hours.

A week before your session, we'll send you a video catalogue of moves and patterns. You pick the ones you like, tell us your song, and we build a routine that fits your style and comfort level. By the end of the session you'll have a complete choreography and an online tutorial to practise with right up to the wedding day.

Ruta is First Dance Academy's Dublin-based choreographer, bringing the same approach and standard that makes First Dance Academy what it is — warm, expert, and completely focused on making you feel confident on the floor.

She specialises in working with couples who describe themselves as "not natural dancers." Her gift is finding the routine that sits perfectly within a couple's abilities while looking far more impressive than it feels to perform.

Every lesson Ruta teaches follows the same preparation process: video catalogue beforehand, bespoke choreography in the studio, online tutorial and video feedback afterwards. The result is a couple who walk onto the floor on their wedding day knowing exactly what they're doing.
